Summer Solstice Tarot Spread: Discover what Summer holds for You

Tarot Spread for the Summer Solstice - Summer Solstice Rituals & Ceremonies

Connect with your fire with this Summer Solstice Tarot Spread

.For this Summer Solstice Tarot Spread, take several deep breaths to ground & center. Once you’re ready simply shuffle your deck & pull 9 cards for each of the questions below. I like to read each question out loud as I pull the corresponding card. Study the card & see what information you can intuit from the image. Use the booklet with your deck for more information. The important thing is, there is no right or wrong answer. Just let your intuition guide you!

1) What is the theme for the summer? Who are your spirit guides this summer?

2) Summer is the season of rapid growth & progress. What is growing rapidly in your life right now? Where will this growth be focused this summer?

3) Where do you need the summer fire in your life?

4) How can you help the intentions you planted in spring continue to grow & bear fruit?

5) Creative expression reaches its height at Lughnasa, on August 1st. Where should you be focusing your creative energy for the next 6 weeks?

6) How can you make the fullest use of your potential this season?

7) The Summer Solstice is the culmination of the sun’s life cycle, which began on the Winter Solstice. What is reaching culmination within you, from first 1/2 of the year?

8) What do you need to release & let go off from the first 1/2 of the year?

9) If you do the work, what will you harvest at the end of the season?

Hi Erin, I just wanted to say thank you for inspiring me to use my tarot deck that I have not used for years as I prefer to work with my other cards, it was so lovely to reconnect with them and very appropriately one of the cards I got was the sun !! happy summer solstice weekend 🙂

Thank you for this. I have been telling my husband that I finally feel ready to finish up my historical novel and seek out an agent for my kids books. I have been feeling pulled to write so strongly which I haven’t felt in over a year while I was pregnant and then sleep deprived. The theme of creative pursuits and thinking with your head over your heart came up again and again and when I got to the end of the spread – I got the 8 of cups. All about consistent effort, dedication to excellence, mastering a skill and imbuing your meraki into your work – and in the deck I use (Light Seers), there is an illustration of a stack of papers with a quill with candles burning – which is how I write! I treat myself to burning a candle every time I sit down. This is the second message I’ve received from the universe showing me the way I write – the first I encountered in Create Anyway by Ashlee Gadd where she shared a photo of all the candle canisters that she burned while writing the book. It could not have been more clear a message! I’ve been feeling disconnected from my spiritual side through the new mom exhaustion but this was a potent reminder that the connection is always there and ready for me to seek it out.

Meagan💖 What a beautiful note about your Summer Solstice experience! (I’m so sorry I didn’t see this sooner. My comments get bombarded by spam & it can take me awhile to see a really beautiful comment like yours.) I love this message you received so much. I cannot WAIT to hear more about your writing endeavors. Please, please share whatever you are doing!! AND, be so very, very gentle with yourself – those early years of parenting are a doozy. xoxo
